Cakes in France offers a unique and personal wedding cake service

​I have been making cakes for over 20 years. When I moved to France in 2009, I found it impossible to buy traditional celebration cakes so decided to do something about it; and Cakes in France was the result!

All my cakes are handmade from scratch. The eggs are local free-range and the flour comes from theour local mill.

I can offer vanilla, chocolate, lemon, coffee, carrot, red velvet, and rich fruit cake. If you have a favourite flavour then do ask me! I’m also happy to make vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free.

If you want your cake decorated with sugar flowers, sculpted animals, or realistic-looking figures, just ask. I’ve successfully completed professional training courses in the UK and France and everything is edible!

Whether you are having a small intimate wedding or a big lavish affair, or perhaps you fancy offering your guests an afternoon tea party, I would be delighted to work with you to create your own special cake.

Your Wedding Cake

Your wedding day will be one of the most important days of your life and choosing your wedding cake will be a happy, exciting experience. Say ‘I DO’ to a bespoke wedding cake made especially for you using the finest local ingredients.

I will guide you and work with you to achieve the taste and look that you desire. I’ll give you guidance on portion control, flavour combinations, storage, display, cutting the cake, transportation, colours, how to use real flowers and much more.

We can communicate by phone, by email, video link or in person. I aim to make this part of your planning enjoyable and seamless. Cakes are designed specifically with the client in mind. Care, time, and attention to detail is taken to ensure that your cake is everything you could wish for.
